Mr. Paoletta (aka Mr. P)

I was born and raised in the great (greatest?) city of Cleveland. Go Browns! I attended college at New York University and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. So why am I teaching a technology class? Because I have also spent considerable time doing freelance web and graphic design. I greatly enjoy teaching the 7th grade, and each day I look forward to the skills and creativity that you all show me.

My favorite…
Sports teams: Browns, Cavs, and Indians. And I’ll cheer for the redskins when it comes to the NFC, but I really do not like the Wizards.
Places I’ve been (or lived in): West Africa, Australia, Colorado, New York City, Holland, Istanbul
Food: Italian. I also eat enchiladas almost every day for lunch.

Intro to Technology

This class is designed so that upon its completion, you will have mastered a number of essential computer skills. You will learn how to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Access. In addition, you will be able to type efficiently, conduct internet research, and design graphics and web pages. The syllabus you received at the beginning of the year details our path to learning these skills.
